La historia de Dzhabai y su hermana Saniya, unos niños que venden cebollas de montaña en una carretera casi desierta mientras ven como sus padres tienen problemas de pareja. Un día Dzhabai descubre algo que cree que puede ayudar a su padre: la “viagra dorada”. Comienza entonces un viaje hacia China de dos niños colados en un camión para poder conseguir esa misteriosa fórmula que, entienden ellos, hará fuerte a su padre y logrará recomponer su vida familiar.


The story of Dzhabai and his sister Saniya, children who sell mountain onions on an almost deserted road while watching their parents have relationship problems. One day Dzhabai discovers something that he believes can help his father: the "golden viagra". This is how a trip to China begins with the two children stranded in a truck in order to obtain that mysterious formula that, they understand, will make their father strong and will be able to rebuild their family’s life.

Eldar Shibanov nació en Almaty, Kazajistán en una familia de arquitectos. Él empezó a trabajar en la industria del film en el departamento de arte. Desde el 2010 ha estado haciendo films independientes con su madre Yulia Levitskaya y su hermano Dias Shibanov. Eldar participó en el programa de talentos de Berlinale y en el festival de la academia de cine asiatico de Busan, donde ganó una beca entregada por el prestigioso director Tsai Ming Liang. En 2018 su corto “Sex, Fear and Hamburguers” fue seleccionado para el festival de Venecia. En 2021, junto a Yulia Levitskaya, se convirtió en finalista del Biennale Cinema College con el film “Gornyi Luk”.


Eldar Shibanov was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan in a family of hereditary architects. He started working in the film industry in the art department. Since 2010, he has been making independent films with his mother Yulia Levitskaya and his brother Dias Shibanov. Eldar participated in the Berlinale Talents program and the Asian Film Academy of Busan Film Festival, where he won a scholarship from Tsai Ming Liang. In 2018 his short movie Sex, Fear and Hamburgers was selected at the Venice Film Festival. In 2021, together with Yulia Levitskaya, he became a finalist at the Biennale Cinema College with the Gornyi Luk project.
